Message from Katherine Vacher-Day

Hello to everyone at St Francis! I have really missed worshipping with you, as well as your fellowship and support.  I have been completing a placement at All Saints, Gosforth, as part of my ordination training. This has been incredibly worthwhile; I have been made to feel very welcome, and have experienced much which I feel will help me as I move towards my curacy.

I am due to serve as an assistant curate at Longbenton St Bartholomew and Longbenton St Mary Magdalene from the end of June. I am very excited, if a little nervous, about starting my new role!

The ordination service for deacons is on Sunday 28^th June at 3pm. You are all very warmly invited to attend; it would be lovely to see you there if you are able to make it.

I continue to think of you often, and to hold you in my prayers.
