Lent at St Francis Church 

As we enter Passiontide you are encouraged to keep on keeping Lent!  As the days lengthen we mark the forty days of preparation for Easter by letting more light into our hearts and lives with a season of prayer and fasting, good works, charitable giving and paying attention to our Christian discipleship.  

Morning & Evening Prayer daily on weekdays at 8.30am and 5pm 

Fridays @ 5pm Stations of the Cross 4^th & 11^th April 

Tuesdays @ 6.30pm Holy Eucharist 8^th April & 15^th April

Tuesdays @ 7.15pm Lent Course in church Calling a wounded earth home – remaining dates 8^th April 

Monday 14th April 6.30pm Taizé Worship in church (including the Eucharist for Monday in Holy Week) 

Tuesdays in Lent Soup Lunches supporting Christian Aid @ 12.30pm 8^th & 15^th April 

Holy Week:     Wednesday in Holy Week 6.30pm Holy Eucharist

                       Maundy Thursday 7.30pm Eucharist of the Last Supper

                       Good Friday 8.30am Morning Prayer & Litany

                                           9.15am Ecumenical Walk of Witness

                                           2.0pm Liturgy of the Cross
