Parish Walk

We are planning a Parish Walk on Sunday 28^th May leaving after church at about 11.30am. We will head for the big car park in Hexham, the Wentworth Car Park, sharing cars, and walk to the Tyne Green Country Park for a picnic lunch. The walk then takes us along the river to the meeting point of the North and South Tyne. The return walk to Hexham is a little further from the river, but almost parallel to the outward journey.  There is then the option of visiting the Abbey at the end of the walk or go for a cup of tea. We are then invited for an evening meal at the home of Marion and John Pennie at Beaufront Hill Head
